If Adulterant



Milk - Put a drop of milk on a polished slanting its products surface .
adulterated milk will flow immediately without leaving a white trail.



Khoya and its products - boil a tiny amount o sample with some water . cool and add
few drops of iodine solution. formation of blue colour indicates
presents of Starch.


Paneer - Same as of khoya products..



Ghee - Mix one teaspoon of melted sample of ghee with equal quantity of
concentrated hydrochloric acid in the test tube. Add a pinch o sugar ,
shake for a minute . after few minutes if it turns CRIMSON (Colour) then
its adulterated.




Sugar - Dissolve 10 grams of sample in a glass o water and allow it to settle.
chalk will settle down at the bottom.



Honey - A cotton wick dipped in pure honey when lighted with a matchstick burn.
if its adulterated . it will not burn and will produce a cracking sound.



Turmeric - When concentrated hydrochloric acid is added to a solution of turmeric
powder , it turns magenta it its adulterated..
